The Artists Open
Brighton’s Artists Open Houses Festival is the largest event of its kind in the UK and one of the jewels in Brighton’s cultural calendar. The festival takes place over four weekends in May during the Brighton Festival. This year over 200,000 people visited the Artists Open Houses Festival, which saw 1500 artists and makers exhibit their work in houses and studio spaces across the city and beyond. There is also a smaller Artists Open Houses Christmas festival.
The Artists Open Houses Festival offers the chance to buy artworks directly from the artists and makers. There is a hugely diverse selection of artworks on show, from original paintings, prints, graffiti arts, ceramics and textiles to photography, sculpture, crafts, jewellery and more.
Bullet PR has been the retained PR agency for the festival for the last five years and is a core member of the team. Media coverage has included two pages in the Mail on Sunday’s Event Magazine, features and stories in Metro, The Times, The One Show, BBC Breakfast, ITV Meridian, BBC South East, Mail online, World of Interiors, Elle Decoration and many arts and culture and regional titles.
"Bullet PR has delivered great results for the Artists Open Houses. Pandora George’s proactive initiatives and creative thinking have made a real impact, bringing fresh ideas and a new media focus to the festival. Above all, Pandora is a real pleasure to work with."
